Event recap and highlight films

A recap film is a 60 to 180 second story of the day: the setup, the crowd, the speakers, the moments people talk about afterward. It is cut to music with short interview clips from attendees and organizers so it feels like being there.

Recaps are the most useful single piece of event video. Fundraisers use them to thank donors, conferences use them on registration pages, and venues use them to book the next event.

Keynote, speaker and session recordings

For conferences and AGMs we record full sessions with a wide and a close camera, take audio straight from the board, and edit in slides where needed. Each talk is delivered as its own file, ready for a members area, YouTube or an on-demand library.

Session recordings extend the value of the speakers you paid for and give remote members a reason to keep their membership.

Fundraisers, galas and charity events

Charity events have a job beyond the evening: they need to show donors where the money goes. We often pair event coverage with a short story piece filmed before the night, played on screen during the program to open wallets in the room, as we did for Friends of Mini-Yo-We and Connexus' For The Hungry.

For Ride for Refuge 2024 we followed riders, volunteers and organizers through the day, from the start line to the finish, so the recap shows supporters exactly what their pledges helped make happen. That film now does double duty as a thank-you to riders and a recruiting tool for next year's teams.

After the event the same footage becomes a thank-you video for donors and a promo for next year.
